Medium Rigid Licence (MR)
A medium rigid, or class MR Licence covers a rigid vehicle with 2 axles and a GVM of more than 8 tonnes. Any towed trailer must not weigh more than 9 tonnes GVM.
Also includes vehicles in class LR.
Minimum requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
- Applicants must have held an Australian car licence for at least 12 months. This does not include a learner driver licence.
